I painted this image after Ben and I paddled sea kayaks out to Bear Glacier with a surf board strapped to the back of one boat. It was so much fun and so thrilling to do a human-powered surf adventure 14 miles out of Seward. The paddle was 4.5 hours with favorable winds in old, plastic kayaks.
Frankly, Bear Glacier is one of my favorite places in the world.
