Moose Pass Summer Solstice 2016

The Moose Pass Summer Solstice Festival is an annual event featuring live music, dancing, booths, bake sale, auction, kayak race, and games in the most charming small-town way possible. Having grown up there, it feels like Christmas and a joint birthday party at once. I was asked koto create artwork for the t-shirts and mugs, which are sold at the festival. My goal was to keep with image monochromatic so that it would work in one-color printing on small beer mugs and large sweatshirts. 

The design features a map of Moose Pass showing the Seward Highway, Upper and Lower Trail Lakes, and surrounding area.
